Who we are
Orqent is an AI consultancy operating the website orqent.dev. For any privacy question or request, email hello@orqent.dev.
What we collect
- Live demo: the workflow description you type and the blueprint generated from it. We don't ask for your name or contact details to use the demo.
- Quote requests: if you choose to request a quote, your name, email address, optional company name, the workflow you described, and the generated blueprint.
- Emails you send us: whatever you include in your message.
- Technical data: our hosting provider processes standard request information such as IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the site. We use IP addresses briefly to limit abuse of the demo.
How we use it
- To generate your blueprint in the live demo.
- To respond to your quote request or enquiry, which is the only reason we'll contact you.
- To keep the site secure and prevent misuse.
Who processes it
We use a small number of service providers to run the site: Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (the AI model that generates demo blueprints), Resend (delivering quote requests to our inbox) and Google Workspace (our email). These providers may process data outside South Africa. We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Demo text isn't stored by us beyond the request itself. Quote requests and emails are kept for as long as needed to discuss your project and for our business records, after which they are deleted.
Your rights
Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and similar laws such as the GDPR, you can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how it's used. Email hello@orqent.dev and we'll respond promptly. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Please don't share sensitive data
The demo is for describing business processes. Please don't enter personal, financial, or confidential information about yourself, your customers, or your employer.
